JLC/REA Rates of Pay


Some industries or segments of a particular industry are covered by Employment Regulation Orders (EROs) and Registered Employment Agreements (REAs), determined by Joint Labour Committees (JLCs).

Issues include minimum rates of pay, and other conditions of work, for workers in these certain sectors.

Of the industry areas referred to above, the ones that relate to candidates we would deal with are Hairdressing (Dublin/ Cork) and Hotel (outside Dublin and Cork City) and Catering.

You may have often seen companies advertising the payment for certain jobs in the hospitality industry as being JLC rates.
